What are Our Amazing Patients have to say About Us
EXCELLENT Based on 61 reviews Posted on Makayla McGarveyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’m so grateful that I found Desert Brain and Spine. When I started with them I was fainting when I’d get off the couch. I had to stop all of my activities and I cried in the waiting room before my first day because I had been to so many doctors that couldn’t help me and felt hopeless. I’m now back to hiking, rock climbing and almost everything else that I used to do. To say that they changed my life would be an understatement.Posted on Downtown GirlTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My daughter is a patient of Dr. Teames. She suffered a TBI after a very serious car accident about 6 years ago. She had trouble sleeping, massive migraines and some balance issues. She was referred to Dr. Teames after being diagnosed with POTS and I have seen a major shift in the frequency of her migraines, sleeping, etc. Their office is nicely decorated and the staff always friendly and professional. They are partners in her health - not dictators on what she "has" to do.Posted on Lora VTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have been suffering from chronic pain for several years. It started with some falls in 2021. Over time, the injuries have caused dysfunction to the point of creating a "scoliosis" curvature in my lumbar spine, which exacerbated a bulging disc. The pain has intensified because of inflammation related to menopause. For 8 months I have been struggling to sleep due to pain. An MRI showed much of the damage (bulging disc, multiple labrum tears, arthritis flare up) and I consulted with an orthopedic doctor. I was told I would need a hip replacement at 54. I seriously considered doing the replacement at one point because the pain was at a consistent 7 or 8 out of 10. I held off on surgery and continued seeking alternative treatments. I've had massage, lymphatic treatment, NUCCA chiropractic, traditional chiropractic, NKT, pilates to strengthen my core, acupuncture, physical therapy, THC/CBD/CBG and a myriad of other modalities to shift my body into a less painful state to promote healing. My NKT therapist recommended DBS. I consulted with Dr. Teames and felt optimistic about his treatment plan. I've had 6 treatments as of today and my pain level is down to a 3 or 4. There are times I don't feel pain at all. I'm sleeping better and have more energy. I FINALLY have swifter results! I am still healing and I have more to go, but getting to this point would not have happened so fast without DBS. I can walk easier and sleep again! If you have been searching for a modality and a team to help you heal, please give DBS a chance to improve your life. I'm so grateful for them.Posted on Christian MoodyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr. Teams is amazing and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Teames and Desert Brain and Spine. His innovative approach to POTS and dysautonomia truly makes a difference for those struggling with these diagnoses. My patients have shared how much they've benefited and how positive their experiences with him have been. Dr. Teames understands the mind-body connection and genuinely cares about helping people feel better. Additionally, he has an awesome staff who make you feel right at home! If you’re looking for someone who offers a fresh perspective and makes a real impact, he’s the one to see.

After 32 years of living with Multiple Sclerosis, I was sure my MS was changing to progressive. But the doctors said it was not MS. Dr. Teames diagnosed me with dysautonomia and started treatments. Within weeks my horrible headaches were gone and I knew exercises to perform if they started again, my blood pressure stayed within healthy ranges, and the anxiety was greatly diminished. But even more impressive was the fact that the environment I was in didn’t affect my nervous system and I could tolerate noise, flashing lights and movements without physical discomfort. This office has given me my life back after 2 years of poor health. My sincere gratitude to Dr. Teames and his entire staff who are loving and happy-a joy to be around them.

Dr. Teames has been a life saver for us. My 14 yr old daughter has severe and complex TMJ due to bite issues and two past concussions. She was in level 7-10 pain all day. We had spent almost 15k seeing dentists, orthodontist, TMJ specialist, doing PT twice a week and using multiple supplements and medications to treat her. She was making no progress in her treatment. We finally came to see Dr. Teames and he very quickly narrowed down what her brain, neck and eyes were doing and needed. In the first week of treatment with Dr. Teames she had her first progress with the dental splint that was stabilizing her joints (she had worn this device for 4 months with no improvement). Over the next two weeks her pain finally started to come down. He gave her exercises to do at home that helped strengthen her eyes so much that she could finally get through a full day of school.
