Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)
What It Is
FND is a brain-based condition that causes real symptoms — like limb weakness, tremors, gait issues, or functional seizures — without any structural damage seen on MRI or CT scans. It results from miscommunication between the brain and body.
Common Symptoms
- Tremors, spasms, or jerky movements
- Loss of coordination or speech
- Non-epileptic seizures or blackouts
- Limb weakness or paralysis
- Trouble swallowing or visual changes
- Chronic fatigue, anxiety, or dissociation
Our Approach
We help retrain the nervous system through neuroplasticity — using brain-body rehab techniques that help restore healthy movement and sensory function. Patients are never treated as if their symptoms are “all in their head.”
What to Expect
We begin with a functional neuro exam and design a plan using sensorimotor retraining, eye tracking, breath work, and brain-body reconnection techniques. Many patients regain function and confidence within weeks.
