Vagal Nerve Stimulation
What It Is
Vagal nerve stimulation (VNS) is a therapy designed to activate the parasympathetic nervous system — your body’s “rest and digest” mode. When the vagus nerve is underactive or overwhelmed, symptoms of dysautonomia, anxiety, and poor digestion can develop. VNS helps reset the system.
Who It’s For
You may benefit from VNS if you experience:
- Anxiety or chronic stress
- POTS or dysautonomia
- IBS, bloating, or nausea
- Shallow breathing or irregular heart rate
- Fatigue or brain fog
What to Expect
You’ll be guided through gentle, targeted exercises and VNS applications during your session. It’s painless, calming, and deeply restorative. We’ll also teach you at-home strategies for ongoing vagus nerve support.
Our Approach
We use non-invasive, electrical VNS tools and breathing techniques to safely stimulate the vagus nerve. When combined with brain-based therapies, this helps shift the body out of fight-or-flight and into a healing state — especially important for those with nervous system overactivity.
